Smaller hinge, slimmer device
According to reliable leaker IceUniverse , Samsung is deploying a new hinge for its yet-to-be-announced foldables. The improved hinge will have a significant impact on the aesthetics of both Galaxy Z smartphones as it will reduce the area occupied by the folding mechanism.
A comparison of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 shows that the footprint of the latter is narrower when folded. Also, this design update for the upcoming foldable matches an alleged case that was also previously spotted by IceUniverse .
Better hidden front camera for the Galaxy Z Fold 4?
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 could also get an upgrade for its UPC (Under Panel Camera). In numbers, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 ‘s current 4 MP camera covers 172 pixels.
