Good news for Samsung Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Note 10 users ! The old men of the Galaxy squad are getting Android 12 for the first time, because the manufacturer is opening its beta version of OneUI 4.0 to other devices. If you want to try out the unstable version of the new Google operating system, we at phoneblogcrazy will tell you how!

  • Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 now part of the Android 12 beta
  • OneUI 4.0 can thus be installed in a test version on the older devices
  • Official release on the models mentioned is planned for January 2022

A few weeks ago, Samsung finally rolled out the final version of its new Android version. OneUI 4.0 can currently be installed on the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. You can now install the beta version on the older Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 models. Exciting news, but you should be careful.

Because beta versions are known to be unfinished . And so it is possible that with OneUI 4.0 you install a few bugs and crashes on the older devices. If you want to venture onto the digital slippery slope, I will briefly tell you below how you can take part in the beta program. If you can wait a little longer, you can see from our Android 12 update timetable for Samsung that the new operating system will be available on other devices as early as January.

How to join the Android 12 beta program

Before I send you into any Samsung app to participate in the beta program, you should definitely make a backup of your old data . While this isn’t quite as important with stable OS updates, data loss is quite likely with betas. Once the update is complete, you can download the ” Samsung Members ” app. This is available free of charge in the Google Play Store, the only requirement is a Samsung account.

You will then find a button in the app to participate in the beta program. It may well be that this will only appear in Germany in a few hours or days. Because the announcement that Samsung is opening its beta program comes from the Indian colleagues at TizenHelp . If you were able to activate the button, the beta version of Android 12 can be installed using the conventional update procedure at Samsung.

Is the update to the beta version too uncertain for you? Then just have a look at our article with 20 pictures of OneUI 4.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S21+ !
